Student Police Cadet (SPC) Programme is launched with an objective of empowering young minds with better knowledge of policing, their rights and duties towards citizens, family and nation. Maharashtra Police is making all out efforts to increase participation of government secondary school students in the programme. This SPC programme will definitely help us to prepare students  for the future.

About Us

Know Who We Are

The Student Police Cadet (SPC) Programme was launched nationally on the 21st July, 2018 by Shri Rajnath Singh, former Union Home Minister. The Student Police Cadet Programme seeks to build a bridge between the Police and the community by inculcating values and ethics in the school going students through indoor and outdoor classes and activities.

The Student Police Cadet Programme is a two years long capacity building programme for the student of 8th and 9th standard. It aims to evolve students as responsible and capable citizens of our democratic society. The programme is successfully running in more than 996 schools and 84,347 number of students are enrolled as SPC Cadets. BPR&D has developed the curriculum for Student Police Cadet Programme.
